A couple days ago it was reported by Very Good Days that Draft King had deleted several of their videos from their YouTube channel. It is being speculated that they were all deleted because of Hiddy’s presence in the videos, which would confuse any new fans who come across those videos.
Earlier today, Very Good Days member Rafayui discovered that Draft King deleted several videos from their YouTube channel. The exact date and time when the videos were deleted is unknown since no one else but Rafayui has noticed this change. The lost videos include four live performances—”Abracadabra,” “Mayonka Merry-Go-Round,” “Surf N Sun,” and “tell me how to say I’m sorry”—and the “Draft King ~introduction special movie~” video. The reason for their removal is unknown, but it can be speculated that Hiddy’s presence in all five of those videos is the reason.
A day later, Draft King uploaded eight brand new videos to their YouTube channel and updated the channel’s display images. The news was posted on their website. All of the videos are live performances from Draft King’s ~2nd mission to the DK~ at SHIBUYA CLUB QUATTRO. Three of the four deleted videos were replaced with newer versions, while the fourth, “Surf N Sun,” was not replaced. Here is the follow up report by Very Good Days.
Following the removal of their first four live videos and introduction video, Draft King has uploaded eight new live videos. All of the previous videos have been uploaded except “Surf N Sun,” while the other five are videos of other songs that most people have not heard or seen live yet (unless you live in Japan and follow Draft King). You can watch all of them below:
Both posts by Very Good Days point out that all instances of Hiddy were removed, possibly to prevent any confusion with new fans. However, fans who have been following Draft King since the beginning and have seen these videos already remain affected. How do you feel about this change? Let us know in the comments below.
